Workshop Description:
Roberta Nelson explains that interesting stained glass effects can be created with any wax or oil crayon and black ink or black paint. She says that resist is a method of applying wax or oil crayons of various colors to parts of the picture so that the water-based inks or paints will not adhere to those areas. Many interesting effects and textures can be created by using rubbings or drawing techniques. Any subject matter can be used for the basis of the work.
